New Year’s is right around the corner and although we are excited about the upcoming future, some of us are a little jittery about the resolutions we think we need to make. Truth is how many of us actually follow through with New Year’s resolutions when we make a whole list of them? Hardly anyone because written resolutions are just like a written list of goals; we hardly accomplish them. The best way to follow through New Year’s resolutions is to just do it plain and simple. Sitting down thinking of a slew of resolutions are wasting time when you can just accomplish these resolutions as you with the flow in 2013.

For example, a lot of people change their phone numbers every year to filter out the toxic and negative people that were in their lives the previous year. Instead of changing your telephone number you can do two easy tasks. You can either tell this person that you are making changes in your life and you would like for them to stop calling you, or simply ignore their phone calls. After calling you for weeks or months depending upon who it is, they will take the hint and eventually leave you alone. Not only will you save money by not paying the number change fee, but you can also save time by not having to update your phone number for the people who need it.

The best way to make changes in your life for the New Year is to just go with the flow. If one of your new year’s resolutions is to be more financially prosperous then make a commitment to save more money.  On your lunch breaks eat food cooked from home or instead of going to the movies, wait for it to come out on DVD.  Accomplishing goals and resolutions are only as hard as you make it. If you relax, breathe and just roll with the punches of life you will definitely come out prosperous.
