Summer is here ladies, and it’s time to hit the water in your most stylish way: with a HOT Swimsuit. This summer’s bathing suit trends are sexy, daring and mindful of the 2012 summer fashion trends. Throw away the boring swimwear and become a head turner by checking out some of the top trends this summer:

High-Waisted

Metallic

Cool Cutouts

Animal Print

To look your very best, you should pick a swimsuit that best fits your body type:

This is the V Shape, also known as the Apple Shape.  This includes those with a bigger upper body; specifically the breast and chest. Avoid low cut swim tops and try for swimsuits with high neck lines or thicker straps. Tankinis and one piece swimsuits look amazing on V-shaped bodies.

The A Shape is also known as the pear shape. Those who are smaller on the top with larger hips or thighs are categorized in this body type. Swimsuits with skirts or boy shorts look best with this shape. Try to wear darker solids on the bottom and stay with lighter shades on top.

The X Shape is also known as the Hourglass Shape. If your top portion matches your bottom, this is your shape! You’re in luck because you can wear any style of swimsuit, but remember to keep it classy ladies!

The H Shape is also known as the Rectangle Shape. Those with height and an athletic build should try two-piece swimsuits that accentuate their curves. Try staying away from overly-detailed designs and choose solids, as they will smooth the look and allow your curves to pop out.

FEW LAST TIPS…..

-If you are bottom heavy, try wearing an A-line swim dress or a full body swimsuit with a sarong.

-If you have a large bust, always opt for supportive straps and underwire. Look for pleats in the bust line; they will minimalize the bust.

-If you have a small bust, look for swimwear with molded cups, layering or shirring in the bust line to maximize the bust area. Also, try a sweetheart neckline!

If you have a full middle, you can always utilize built-in shapewear swimwear such as Miracle Suit!
